Whatever You Need is Exactly What GOD is!

(Exodus 3)

This month’s blog stems from our book for the month of January. It is rather a short one to encourage you, this second month of the year which is all about love.

As I lay in my bed, feeling all sad because I have been down with cold and cough, I decided to spend some time to read scriptures, meditate and go to bed. My attention was drawn to the book we read in Lydia Speaks Book Club for the month of January. A phrase came to my head and decided to turn my Bible to the book of Exodus 3:14 God said to Moses, ‘I am who I am.[c] This is what you are to say to the Israelites: “I am has sent me to you.”’

As I began to meditate on this scripture, I found myself writing in my journal all the things I am trusting the Lord for this year! God is saying I AM WHATEVER YOU ARE LOOKING FOR’ so why worry? Lay all the burdens, worries, cares, bills and plans under HIS feet. Begin to seek Him and allow Him to lead and direct you.

Throughout the life of Moses, God met his need in various ways. God will give you continuous revelations of Himself throughout your life as you trust Him this year for your needs for everything.  In verse 12 And God said, ‘I will be with you.

When you read Deuteronomy 29:5, The Lord said to Moses “I have led you forty years in the wilderness; your clothes have not worn out upon you, and your sandals have not worn off your feet.

What a might God we serve! Only if you can trust that He is always there and will take care of you! He is whatever you need! How incredible! Can you imagine your child worrying after you have told and assured them to ask you for whatever the need? You might feel insulted and angry for them not trusting you. God is not angry at you; all He is saying to us is to trust HIM. If He was with Moses and the Israelites  and took care of the and provided for their needs to the extent that their very shoes did not wear off or clothes torn? WOW! Why will He not meet your needs. IF you trust in him! Can you imagine wearing the same clothes for just a week? What do you think will happen? Yet God kept His children in the wilderness not just keeping their clothes and shoes but also providing food for them and protection. The Bible says God was with them and protected them  with“ The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people” Exodus 13:22.

The Israelites must have felt safe and secure with God leading them in this visible manifestation. God manifested His presence to them not only to show His visible presence, but also to protect and lead them on their journey to the promised land.

We can also have the same assurance that God’s presence wherever we go. He is there, just recognising His presence with you

It doesn’t matter how difficult the circumstances you will find yourself, know that God, is with you. His name is JEHOVAH SHAMMAH, God is there. The Lord is always with you. He is always there, and He is exactly whatever you need!

Psalm 9:10 says 10 And they who know Your name [who have experience and acquaintance with Your mercy] will lean on and confidently put their trust in You, for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek (inquire of and for) You [on the authority of God’s Word and the right of their necessity].

Seek God and know that He is Jehovah who is already in your future no matter the challenges that may come.

Remember, whatever you need, is what God is! Call upon Him today!

I will encourage you to read the book “The names of God by Marilyn Hickey) Till next month
