About Lydia

My journey in Christian broadcasting began in July 2015, when I launched my first radio program. Around the same time, I started my very first podcast, Lydia Speaks, from the comfort of my home — using my beloved pre-loved laptop!

The name Lydia Speaks came naturally — a reflection of my heart to share God’s truth, encouragement, and wisdom with others. One day, I came home to a wonderful surprise from my dear husband — he had transformed a small room in our house into a beautiful mini studio, complete with microphones and freshly painted walls. I was so moved, I was almost in tears.

My children were my very first guests on Lydia Speaks! I remember it so clearly — our topic was the importance of prayer. What they shared that day truly moved me to tears. Their understanding of prayer — why we pray and how they see God at work — reminded me that our children are always watching and learning when we pray and share the Word at home.

It remains one of my favourite episodes ever. After that, I recorded a few more shows on my own before beginning to invite guests. Since then, I’ve had the joy and privilege of interviewing many incredible guests, each sharing their unique story of faith and purpose.

In 2017, Lydia Speaks became a recognised brand on The London Christian Radio, where I also began producing and presenting Women’s Talk. Through this platform, I’ve had the privilege of interviewing some truly amazing women — sharing stories of faith, resilience, and purpose.

This season marked the birthing of new wings for the Lydia Speaks Ministry — expanding the vision to inspire, equip, and encourage through media, conversation, and the Word.

Today, Lydia Speaks has grown beyond broadcasting into a ministry that empowers and equips. We now offer mentoring programs for young women, coaching sessions, courtship guidance, and speaking engagements — all designed to nurture purpose, strengthen faith, and build godly confidence in every woman’s journey.
